I have to go around the store, put the stuff in my cart, take it all back out again, then put it in my car, then take it out to put it inside, then put it away. Might as well make someone at the store work for their pay to eliminate one step. Plus, unless you're buying like three things, I don't find the self-checkout very efficient. You have to stop and bag something every couple of items cause the machine tells you the tray is full. Plus it gets pissed if it thinks you are trying to sneak an item across.
