She visited me in a dream I had just a couple of weeks ago - I dreamt I was giving her a bath--maybe she went into your dream to ask for help to save her from the bath! Or maybe she is just saying hi these days.

Or maybe a response to someone else we know suffering from a loss of a loved one?

I tend to have sad and/or scary dreams when I am stressed or overwhelmed, not necessarily related to what is stressing me.

I know what you mean about it staying with you though--sometimes it is good though, when it is a good dream.

I've had a dream like that before. I walked into my kitchen (in the dream), and Bonnie, my first pet dog, who died when I was about 8 or 9 just came running up.

That dog was part of my family before I was, and I even thought of her as a second mother when I was growing up (She'd stand guard over my crib, pull me away from the roads when I was a toddler etc.)

I did the same thing, I was so shocked at seeing her again, I just burst into tears in my dream.

Pet's truly are part of the family, but you feel stupid if you properlly grieve when they die.

You've got to deal with it sooner or later, and dreams, where the rules and restrictions of real life don't apply, is the perfect place.

My first thought was maybe it was a reaction to the recent events in London (how much more euphamistic could THAT be?), your brain trying to wrap itself around that one.
