Remember when I used to blog here?

Yesterday I received the single most offensive piece of (snail) mail I think I may have ever received. It was an informational postcard thingy explaining what the post office can do for me... and it featured daily comic strip character Cathy. If that's not offensive, I don't know what is.

'Cause, seriously, who's reading Cathy?

I threw it in the trash and then, in either a moment of brilliance or weakness, I reached back in and rescued it from its almost certain fate at the city dump. The postal service, an organization whose antiquated cellulose-based business serves only to vex me through its insistence on delivering little more than worthless bulk advertisements, had decided to favor me just this once and deliver a potential comedic outlet. With that in mind, I present to you this remix comic I produced by replacing the original captions with dialogue I thought was more fitting (you may remember I did this once before with a "Dig 'Em" comic):

Kato and the United States Postal Service Present... Cathy: WTF?

If we're lucky, the next series with feature Bil Keane's The Family Circus.

How many newspapers still carry that horrid strip? It used to be in one of the papers I read, but they dropped it years ago.

It's existence injures the very fabric of my being.

Seriously, I had a physical reaction at my first glimpse of Cathy on your blog. When is MTV going to use her in their Deathmatch? (Not that I watch it, but still...)

First strip could be Gabe, Tycho, Skull, Ethan and Strong Bad kicking the crap out of Cathy.

Entertaining, no?
