A little girl whispering to another littler girlI'm definitely without a muse this week, although I wouldn't be surprised if it had something to do with me staying up too late and not getting enough sleep. Oh well, sleep is for the weak. And the tired. Which I am. Both of those. A sweet little nap on my nice comfy Ikea couch sounds quite nice right now. Perhaps I could sneak home, just for awhile. No one would know. Except, perhaps, those few individuals that I work with that might occasionally read this blog.

Yes. I must eliminate them, quickly and quietly.

At any rate, today I must default again and deliver another click-worthy link. "Fingerclickin Good" as Litany might say.

The site is called PostSecret and is described as such: "PostSecret is an ongoing community art project where people mail-in their secrets anonymously on one side of a homemade postcard." It's really interesting to see what "secrets" people have sent in. No way of telling if any of them are true (though I imagine at least some are) but the messages and the way they are conveyed are very intriguing. I found many of them to be quite evocative--amazing that just simple text, written in a certain way, composed perhaps with a significant background, can express so much and with such power.

Feel free to send them a postcard to express your feelings for a certain blogger of note. Your secret is safe with me... er, them.

I've been sucked into the world of PostSecret! I even like this one better than Found.

And why are you staying up so late?
Or is it a secret....

Yes, kato, why are you staying up so late?

Cindy: It's not quite as good as Pop Secret, but it might be with more butter.

Robin: Wouldn't you like to know.
But Kato, how am I to live vicariously if people don't share?

Hmm, good point. Well, feel free to make up any number of stories about why I might be up late. Here's one...

In my spare time I enjoy the time honored tradition of crafting wood-davers. The long and arduous process must be performed all in one sitting in order to ensure the final product comes out right. Just me up all night with my pine cones and my birdseed, crafting away.
